Objectives
of the study |
|
Recognising
the need to enhance the effectiveness and impact of publicly funded
innovation support spending, the European Commission, along with
an increased number of policy-makers, has developed a strong interest
in the evaluation of innovation programmes, initiatives and policies,
as a critical success factor for the competitiveness of enterprises
in a global knowledge based economy.
Against this background, the European Commission has launched a
study with a view to develop common methodologies, standards, tools
and relevant impact indicators to monitor the efficiency of on-going
schemes and programs, as a priority for good governance of innovation
policy.
